To stretch a moment- Its elastic sinews reaching to the sky for eternity And speech that melts into a slow, tender kiss And thought that slurs When time slows down When you feel time instead of measure it And the only reminder that its passing at all Is the setting sun on her silky skin And her radiance commands With eyes that flit nervously forever
And as this moment stretches to eternity, The colour saturation drains from her face And my vespertine desires are come. The thought is fleeting

It’s warm in my car. Lights set to high beam; night’s smile is revealed. He is the world’s best passenger. He’s not a backseat driver—he barely speaks, in fact. But if you don’t pay him respect, he’ll bring up a deer in your headlights one of these times. It just goes to show how weak and pathetic we are, thinking we own this world—even just this life. This is all a gift that we forsake with every breath we take for granted.

A Clean Slate

I've decided to completely delete my past journals and start over now that I'm graduating and looking forwards in my life. More to come in the next two months as I re-strucutre my life and decide what I'm doing with my future.
